Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife

We are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife (FNPW), to help safeguard Australian wilderness areas and wildlife for future generations.

Operating for over 50 years, the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife is the trusted charity partner of Australia’s much loved National Parks. The non-government organisation funds conservation projects across Australia. Its programs include Wildlife Heroes - an Australian wildlife rescue and care program and Backyard Buddies - a free educational initiative, which provides tips on transforming backyards into safe habitat havens.

The partnership represents a very important step for Tiger Tribe. We’ve always made charity contributions across the years but partnering with the FNPW helps us to consolidate our social impact in a way that not only resonates with who we are but adds a greater sense of meaning and purpose to what we do.

Eden Reforestation Projects

The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else is going to save it.

That’s just not going to happen.

Here at ThreadBear Design we have an obligation to replace timber and for many years now we have been paying to replant the trees we use. But replacing trees is simply not enough: we needed to do more. Much more.

Our beautiful planet is choking to death and many communities are starving.
So we researched all the available schemes and saw that the Eden Projects best supports our aims and values.

Eden Projects are now recognised as one of the most effective re-forestation projects on the planet.
By focussing on areas of high unemployment they have created 3,500 jobs in some of the hardest hit places in the world: Madagascar, Nepal, Haiti, Indonesia and Mozambique.

The scheme to, “hire a village and plant a forest” has already led to the planting of 250 million trees, and ensured an income for hard pressed people.
